from a grant of USD 500 from JALT (Japan Association for Language
Teachers) for ELT Teacher Training Certificate Courses to be run
with BELTA expertise

Fulbright Language Teaching Assistants (FLTA) program
BELTA has been invited by the American Cultural
Center for the last 3 years to nominate eligible English teachers
to this nine-month program in the US.

Global Connections Exchange Programme (GCEP), January 2006
Collaborated with Bangladesh Relief International-Schools
Online (RISOL) & the American Centre to nominate secondary school
teachers of English for 3-month TEFL and Adult ESL Certificate Programme
at Hamline University, Minnesota
4.
Eurasia/South Asia Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program
(TEA), December 2006
BELTA nominated 30 secondary school teachers
of English for a 6-week program in the USA (Summer & Fall 2007).
